Dance to the last minute------to be a lifetime ballet dancer

1. Feelings after the earthquake of Wen chuan

Dancing has always been a great part of every girl’s dream. The survivors of the disaster, especially some girls, they have lost one of their legs, but they can also dance with the survival one. Even if they don’t have their legs any more, they can dance in their wheelchairs because when we are dancing, our heart and our esprit dance along with our body. Every one has the ability to dance as long as he or she wants to. So please never say no to dancing,

2. Dancing queen of ballet

Yuanyuan is regarded as “the largest gem on the crown of San Francisco Ballet not only for her dancing but also for her delicate face. “People say that I look like Audrey Hepburn, as she is also a ballet dancer. And the men of Hollywood have got in touch with me, hoping that I can enter in their industry, but to be honest, I have never thought that. If there is a film like ‘White Nightsin which I can play while dancing, I think I will have a try. At present, I want to concentrate on dancing, without the disturbance of other things she said.

3. The honors

At 14, she got the second place in Helsinki International Ballet Competition; at the age of 15, she participated in International Ballet Competition France, getting the full mark of Ulanova, the great master of ballet in Russia. One year later, she was rewarded the only golden metal during the first Nagoya International Ballet competition. Another great honor came when she was 27, she was named as one of the twenty ‘heros of the periodunder 40 in Asia by the ‘Timesof USA. Having got so many honors, she was especially impressed by the ‘Nijinsky prizein the first Nagoya International Ballet competition. ‘This prize is very special to me, Im the first foreigner, the first female ballet dancer, the first under age dancer who got this honor she said, from which we can see her appreciation for this master of ballet. ‘Of course I want to be famous as him, but at present what I want to do is dancing more and introducing foreign dancers to perform in China./SPAN>

4. How the dream comes true?

Since she entered in San Francisco Ballet at 18, she has stayed in America for 13 years. During her ballet career, luck contributes a lot to her success. When she was very young, her father was thinking to let her give up dancing, but she didn’t want to. At last they decided to toss up. Till now, the coin is still in her mother’s hand. But we can’t ignore her efforts. She also remembers in 1998, during the performance season, one day the chief injured her finger, yunayuan was demanded to replace her. It took her a whole night to learn the very complicated dance drama ‘Stravinsky Concerto Thanks to this chance, she was able to perform as a chief. Her passion for ballet will never come to the end. ‘I have played ‘Swan Lake‘Gisellefor one hundred times on stage, nothing can prevent me from dancing, nothing can let me stop playing said she.

5. The little ‘mermaido:p>

Sometimes, she finds that her personal experience is just like this of the mermaid, from the underwater to today’s international stage. She thinks that the pain while dancing in ‘the high placeis worthy. Yuanyuan is also a girl who loves trying. ‘There isn’t any dance that I don’t dare to dance. I will try to do it even if it’s very difficult. I’m a person who likes something new, I’m not afraid that I can’t dance it, what I’m afraid is that I don’t dare to try it./SPAN>

6. Her attitude toward the romance on stage

‘The romance in the classic ballet reflects the great love story of the romantic age during the middle ages, but we can’t take it for ours, they are not realistic, they are too old for us. If we demand the romance of the fairy tales in such a society, it’s too much.

7. Her innovative thoughts towards ballet

Yunayuan tells us that she can still make a lot of improvements in art and in performance of character. ‘I think there are a lot of things that we can take from Beijing opera to serve to the ballet, even if it’s a gesture or an expression. I have tried it in some improvisatorial dances, it’s very interesting. I believe that to combine the Beijing opera and the ballet will be an innovative invention of our Chinese. She commented.
